ELECTRICIAN - PLANT MAINTENANCE
PURPOSE
To ensure reliable electrical operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of flexible laminate productionequipment to support safe, efficient, and uninterrupted plant operations.
THE JOB
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and flexible laminate production machines.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults on motors, drives, panels, sensors, PLC-controlled equipment.
- Install, test, and commission electrical equipment, control panels, and instrumentation systems.
- Support breakdown maintenance activities to minimize downtime and restore production promptly.
- Carry out inspection, calibration, and servicing of electrical and automation components.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and HSE requirements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and report recurring equipment issues for improvement actions.
THE PERSON MUST
- Ability to work shifts and respond to maintenance emergencies
- Ability to troubleshoot motors, VFDs, sensors, PLCs, and control circuits
- Discipline, reliability and integrity
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Strong awareness of industrial safety procedures and permit-to-work systems
QUALIFICATION
- OND or Trade Test Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2 years industrial electrical maintenance experience.
- Experience in flexible packaging, laminate, printing, or manufacturing environment is an advantage.
