HSE ASSISTANT
PURPOSE
To support the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) systems within Bagco, ensuring a safe workplace, regulatory compliance, accident prevention, and adherence to food packaging safety standards.
THE JOB
- Assist in implementing HSE policies, procedures, and safe work practices across the plant.
- Conduct routine safety insoections, hazard identification, and risk assessments within production and operational areas.
- Monitor compliance with PPE usage and safety regulations by employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Support incident reporting, accident investigation, and root cause analysis activities
- Maintain HSE records, safety logs, innsoection reports, and statutory documentation.
- Participate in safety drills, emergency preparedness exercises, and evacuation simulations.
- Assist in delivering safety inductions and toolbox talks for employees and contractors.

QUALIFICATION
- OND in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, Industrial Safety, Engineering, or related discipline
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 1-2 years HSE experience in manufacturing orindustrial environment
